It seems Government of India has accepted the demand of Civil Services aspirants to raise the age limit for attempts.
On the website of Personnel & Ministry:
http://persmin.gov.in/AIS1/Docs/MoreAttempts.pdf
Subject: Civil Service Examination- Relaxation of number of attempts
The Central Government has approved “two additional attempts to all categories of candidates w.e.f. Civil Services Examination 2014, with consequential age relaxation of maximum age for all categories of candidates, if required.”
This means that the age limit will now be:
General: 30+2= 32 years
OBC: 33+2= 35 years
SC/ST: 35+2= 37 years
Hoping to see more details about it soon on UPSC website.
